- I'm a 15 year old mini dachshund. I have 2 dachshund sisters, Stella and Elsie. Of course I can't forget my mom and dad Janet and Russ I'm originally from Michigan, I was taken away from my original people because they were not taking care of me like they should. I ended up at a rescue called Pepe's Pals. I was there for months, then one day I took a ride to a park and met my new mom and dad. O happy day!

I was just stopping by to say thank you for the lovely Christmas card you sent us with your picture. I was so excited to see that you were a dachshund like me but I am a wirehair.I am I think 6 years old. I am a rescue so I guess nobody will ever know for sure. The Mommy is a volunteer with DROH and I had 4 dachshie brothers but now it's just me and the Mommy. I am so sorry to hear
that your sister Heidi went to the bridge. The Mommy's first dachsie, Samantha, went to the bridge 4 years ago and she was almist 15 years old. Samantha is the official
greeter of dachsies at the bridge so I bet they are running around having a good time.

We haven't been around for a long time and now we see this sad news. We are glad Heidi is feeling better now but we will miss her. She was a beautiful girl.
