- I'm a 15 year old mini dachshund. I have 2 dachshund sisters, Stella and Elsie. Of course I can't forget my mom and dad Janet and Russ I'm originally from Michigan, I was taken away from my original people because they were not taking care of me like they should. I ended up at a rescue called Pepe's Pals. I was there for months, then one day I took a ride to a park and met my new mom and dad. O happy day!

My name is Mona & me just saw your comment on another dachshund's bloggie. I am a wirehaired dachshund and me was rescued by DROH and then adopted by the Mommy after her 15 year old Samantha went to the Rainbow Bridge in 2005.
I love to make new dachsie friends.
I have a doggie cousin named Tippy but she be a minature poodle but you be cuter than her.

I've got a live and l;et live attitude towards the squirrels, to be honest: they're pretty tough -- both in the sense of being ready to rumble, and being stringy and gamey -- so where's the incentive to mix it up with 'em? Better to stick with the butcher's bones, I think.
